Author Guidelines

Interfaces invites papers in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Each paper should have an abstract in English. We encourage the submission of substantial contributions, normally in the range of 35 000-100 000 characters.

For further guidelines, please see the Interfaces Style Guide.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (unless explanations are given in a note to the editors).

  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx), or OpenOffice (.odt) document file format.

  3. The text follows the Author Guidelines, which are found in this section.

  4. The contribution is accompanied by an English abstract and 5 keywords.

  5. The instructions in Ensuring a Blind Peer Review have been followed.
