Abstract
After having reconstructed, as far as the sources allow, Luigi Pulci's stays in Milan and his relations with the Milanese milieu, which are echoed on his literary work, the essay focuses on other characters, closely linked to the author of Morgante, who in those years attended the Sforza court assiduously. Even the writings of Piero Vespucci, Benedetto Dei and Giovanni Ridolfi, in fact, help to outline a portrait of Milan and its court as it might have appeared to the Florentine visitors of the time.
