Abstract

In his fourth article of the series "in Introduction to Ornithology” the Author goes on with the problem of Migration form the practical point of view. In the first part of the article the several tecniques of study are dealt with.Then is shown how
we must work out an interpratatio of results. The author gives in full detail advices on the way by which the amateur bird-watcher may help in getting a better picture of the problem.
Lastly the author deals with some of the theories on bird navigation, advising how many experiments could be taken into considera
tion by the average birdwatcher in our country.
