BOARD ROLES
The Editorial Team consists of the Editor-in-Chief and members of the Editorial Board. The Editorial Team defines the guidelines of the editorial and scientific policies of the Journal, promotes the editorial activities (indications related to ordinary and special issues, involvement of the scientific community, dissemination), and directs and manages the validation and assessment processes. The Editorial Board should not include more than 40% of members affiliates to the same Academic Institution and more than 20% retired academic members. On the other hand, the Advisory Board is composed of renowned academic professors and counsels the Editorial Team on matters related to the organization and dissemination of the Journal’s issues, and on the management of the reviewing processes. The Editorial Board of Directors, the Advisory Board, and the Editorial Staff are generally renewed every 10 years or whenever a member steps down from his/her position. Members of these bodies are selected based on their professionalism, without discrimination on the grounds of gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, language, age, citizenship, or political orientation. There are no limits on the number of consecutive terms a member can serve.
REFEREE
Ex Chordis’s referees are experts in the disciplines addressed by the journal, who anonymously evaluate submitted scholarly articles with a view to possible publication.
