Aims and scope

Glocalism is an interdisciplinary journal (open to submissions all year round) dealing with issues related to the process of globalisation and glocalisation. In simple words, it is interested in how global human interactions affect local societies as well as how local societies react to global influence and generate new and original local results.

In order to respect local cultures while promoting global dialogue, Glocalism publishes articles in any language chosen by the author, with an abstract and keywords in English.

All research articles published in Glocalism have undergone rigorous double-blind peer review, after initial screening of the executive editor and the peer review coordinator expert in the article's field.

Glocalism's readership is mainly composed of social science and humanities academics working in Europe, the USA, China, India, the UK, Canada, Australia, Russia, and other countries worldwide.
