Author Biography

Aminat Emma Badmus, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia

Aminat Emma Badmus is a Ph.D candidate in the Language and Culture Department of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Her core research interests lie in West African women’s writings and its intersection with transnationalism, gender and queer studies. Her ongoing dissertation project sets out to explore from a literary and linguistic perspective how narratives produced by members of the third generation of Nigerian novelists portray transnational experiences of migration in Euro-American contexts and its implication in relation to identity, gender and culture.
