  • The submission has not been previously published or submitted to another journal (or an explanation is provided to the editor in the comments).
  • The submission file is sent in either .doc or .docx format or in .pdf format.
  • The text complies with the editorial criteria indicated.
  • The text complies with the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarised in the author guidelines, which can be found on the journal information page.

Author Guidelines

Contributions should be sent to the Editorial Coordinator, Dr. Laura Pepe (link to email address: laura.pepe@unimi.it), who will forward them to the Journal Editors for initial review.

Bio and contacts

Authors must attach a brief biographical profile to their contribution (academic qualifications, university and department), as well as providing a phone number and a valid email address.

Abstract

Each contribution must be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 15 lines, in Italian and English.

Review

The contribution will be sent to two anonymous scientific reviewers. To ensure the anonymity of the author, the file and text of the contribution must not contain any information that could lead to the author being identified. The outcome of the peer review process will be communicated to the author, together with any requests for changes to the contribution.

Drafts

After adapting the text of the contribution to the reviewers' suggestions and bringing it in line with the journal's editorial criteria (see below), the author shall submit the complete and final text, together with an abstract and five keywords in Italian and English, to the Scientific and Editorial Coordinator (email address: laura.pepe@unimi.it), who will forward it to the publisher.

The drafts will be sent by the Editorial Coordinator to the authors via email, at the email address provided. They must be returned corrected within the deadline stated in the email in electronic form (PDF scan of the paper with corrections inserted by hand or revisions and comments annotated directly on the PDF). Corrections must be limited to typos or minor adjustments to the text; rewriting entire paragraphs is not permitted.

In exceptional cases, where editorial work on the contributions prove particularly difficult, a second round of drafts is required.
