The text examines the return of Confucius in contemporary China, highlighting its dual nature: a tool of political propaganda to promote harmony and social control, but also a rediscovery of Chinese identity and thought. Through a dialogue with sinologist Amina Crisma, it delves into the relationship between Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, as well as the unresolved tension between collective values and individual rights.
