We are delighted to announce that the website of Artology: Studies in the Arts is now online!
Artology is an international, interdisciplinary, diamond open access journal dedicated to the study of the arts in their broadest sense. Published by Milano University Press, the journal provides a platform for innovative research and experimental forms of scholarship that explore the intersections of art, culture, society, and theory.
Each issue of Artology features:
-
A monographic section devoted to a specific theme or topic.
-
An open section for articles addressing other questions in the arts and visual culture.
-
A review section, including book reviews and reviews of exhibitions, performances, and art events.
-
Space for visual essays and experimental formats, expanding the boundaries of academic publishing.
The journal publishes two issues per year (June and December) and welcomes submissions from scholars, artists, and practitioners worldwide.
We invite you to explore our website, consult the author guidelines, and consider submitting your work.
On behalf of the editors and editorial boards, we warmly thank all those who have supported the creation of Artology. We look forward to fostering a vibrant and global dialogue on the arts with this new platform.
