Abstract

The paper identifies texts that are precarious not just as regards their physical state, but also in metalinguistic terms, and are considered of secondary importance in literature circles and elsewhere. Three types of phenomena can therefore be identified, for which the definitions “crosstextuality”, “pertextuality” and “surtextuality” are suggested. Focusing in particular on the second of these, this is a summary of the description.
