Abstract

The Asiatic whitefly Aleuroclava guyavae (Takahashi, 1932) is recorded for the first time in Europe (Italy). This species was found in several localities in the Veneto Region (districts of Padua, Treviso, Vicenza) in greenhouse on Citrus Limon, Ficus sycomorus sp., and outdoors on Pittosporum tobira, Prunus armeniaca and Photinia sp..
