Abstract
During a survey on insect pests of ornamental plants in Central-Southern Italy and in Sicily, Obolodiplosis robiniae (Haldeman, 1847) has been found on Robinia pseudoacacia L. (Fabaceae). Galls of O. robiniae, containing larvae and pupae, were observed on leaflets of black locust. Moreover, two species of Hymenoptera, belonging to the families Platygastridae and Eulophidae respectively, have been found feeding on O. robiniae larvae, and reaching up to 80% of parasitization.
