Abstract
The Authors report Xanthandrus comtus (Harris.) (Diptera Syrphidae) as a predator of the anthophagous larval stages of European Grape Berry Moth, Lobesia botrana (Denn. & Schiff.) for the first time. Eco-ethological and biological aspects of X. comtus are also described.
