Abstract

Goetheana shakespearei Girault (Hymenoptera Eulophidae), exotic parasitoid of Thysanoptera, has been recorded for the first time from Europe (Spain). Notes on the systematic position of the eulophid, the main morphological characteristics for the identification, its distribution and biology are given.
