Abstract

Seven genera (Acer, Betula, Carpinus, Corylus, Fagus, Liriodendron, Quercus) and 38 species of ornamental trees were analyzed and 29 species of aphids were recorded there; most of them are Phyllaphidinae. A new species for the italian territory, Periphyllus californiensis (Shinji), was collected on Asian ornamental maples.
