Abstract

This publication gives the list of 456 species of Agromyzidae (Diptera) announced (year 2000 included) of the neotropical region. For each one among they it is mentioned the currently known geographical distribution. The synonyms are given, just as are indicated the species considered as nomina dubia. A subgeneric combination and 7 new generic combinations are established.
