Language as combinatorial materiality in the poetic space: from the Oulipo to the Ubuweb

This article identifies the first anticipations of some writing practices that will fully manifest themselves in the cultural context of digitization. The Ubuweb, a project founded in 1996, will be included as an experimental result of robopoetics, in dialogue with the earlier experiences of the Oulipo and concrete poetry. In that context, changes in the conception of poetic compositions characterized by the combinatorial materiality of language will be observed.
