In the vast world of Schubert's Lieder, the dream is a pulsating element, the heart and engine of a poetic linked to romantic aspects as well as vertigo and nightmare in the most torn and modern notes. The imagination and the courage to desire the future are expressed with tender lightness, until the ironic harshness of reality overturns the dream into the darkest night. Schubert, however, has his own recipe to restore light to us in another way.
