Two inhumed graves are presented: from San Giuliano di Puglia (Campobasso) (second half of the VI Century B.C.) and from Santa Lucia di Serino (Avellino) (I Century B.C. - I Century A.D.). In both iron shackles were found. In San Giuliano, the grave, bisomus, was of a woman and of a young man, perhaps suffering from epilepsy; the shackles were not worn, as very rarely documented elsewhere, and one of them had been opened. In Santa Lucia di Serino it is the grave of a compeditus, most likely assigned to heavy agricultural works.
