Thanks to the diffusion of digital technologies, within a decade the great transformation of media has led to a Copernican revolution, which has placed the user at the center of the system. This work analyses the ongoing processes starting from the 14th Censis Report on Communication. In particular, the focus is on the so-called biomedatic era, characterized by the virtual transcription and real-time sharing of personal biographies through social networks, which establish the user primacy, not only as a consumer but also as a producer of contents.
