Abstract

The vicus of Calvatone - Bedriacum has always been a favorite site for studying the pottery of the Cisalpina region. Nevertheless, it has also returned different materials, especially metal ones, that are constantly neglected due to both their bad conservation - that makes any identification very difficult - and their qualification as “small finds”, which makes them automatically less useful from a chronological and interpretative perspective. So, aim of this work will be the preliminary analysis of some iron and bronze objects coming from the site, to demonstrate that, despite their nature, they can be really interesting to establish parallels with other places and to know more about everyday life in the vicus.
