Abstract

This volume presents the first part of the Proceedings of the Congress“Accompagnare il passato verso il futuro. 50 anni di Civico Museo Archeologico di Angera”, organizedby the Municipality of Angera and its Civic Archaeological Museum in collaboration with the local Superintendence, and held in Angera on 16 November 2024.

Author Biographies

Valentina Dezza, Civic Archaeological Museum of Angera

Valentina Dezza is Museum Curator at the Civic Archaeological Museum of Angera (VA) and Museum Director of the Civic Archaeological Museum of Casteggio and Oltrepò Pavese (PV). She deals with roman material culture, museology, museum education and tourist and cultural project development. In the last fifteen years, she has managed and promoted the organization of regional and ministerial projects, lectures, archaeological activities, and she organised conferences in collaboration with University and Superintendencies. From 2022 to 2024, she coordinated the complete reinstallation of the exhibition itinerary of the Civic Archaeological Museum of Casteggio and Oltrepò Pavese and collaborated in the reinstallation of the Angera museum’s prehistoric section.

Anna Bernardoni , Civic Archaeological Museum Khaled al-Asaad

Anna Bernardoni is Museum Curator at the Civic Archaeological Museum Khaled al-Asaad in Arona (Lake Maggiore, Italy) and Head of Educational Services and Communication at the Civic Archaeological Museum of Angera (Lake Maggiore, Italy). Her work focuses on museology, heritage education, and cultural project development. At the Museum of Angera, she has conceived and supervised several scientific projects awarded with ministerial and regional funding, contributing to the city’s cultural and touristic growth through the creation of numerous experiential itineraries, lectures and educational workshops. Since 2021, she has been involved in the reinstallation of the museum’s prehistoric section, as well as in archival research on the history of excavations and archaeological discoveries in the local area.
