Abstract

The contribution is dedicated to Gemma Sena Chiesa and her research on Roman vicus of Angera, in particular to the archaeological excavations conducted in the necropolis and in the town by the universities of Milano and Pavia between 1975 and 1986, directed by her, and to the resulting studies.
