The paper presents a first part of the contributions presented at the 3rd international conference entitled EN TEORÍA HAY MUJERES (EN TEORÍA), which took place on 7 and 8 July 2023 at the University of Milan. The presentation recalls the genesis and objectives of the initiative launched in 2018 and mentions some reflections on some of the many unresolved issues of the legal-philosophical-political-ethical debate on the contemporary relevance/irrelevance of gender issues on a theoretical and practical level.
