Pax Agostiniana as an Inner Gift and a Legal-political Task
In view of the deep divisions and growing polarities afflicting the present, the theme of peace is more relevant and meaningful than ever. This article aims to investigate two different but converging dimensions of peace, as understood by Augustine of Hippo. Starting from his personal life and moving on to his writings, it outlines these two aspects in their meaning and context, highlighting their particular and illuminating relevance to the present.
