The Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic sedimentary succession of the Zanskar Tethys Himalaya (Ladakh, India) can be subdivided into three stratigraphic units: the Zozar Formation (Late Garnian), the Quartzite Series (Norian) and the Kioto Group (Rhaetian to Early Dogger).
