GEMINI – Gender Equality through Media Investigations and New training Insights

Marica Spalletta (Ph.D.) is Associate Professor in Sociology of Cultural and Communication Processes at Link Campus University of Rome. Her research focuses on mediatization of cultural processes and the agenda ones; the media representation of social issues and the audiences’ perspective; the relationship between politics, institutions and media; the credibility issue. Over the last twenty years, she has participated and directed several research projects focused on these topics, funded and/or promoted by universities, associations, organizations and institutions. She authors and/or co-authors about 100 scientific publications, hosted by international and national top-level journals and leading publishers.
