Author Biography

Greta Delpanno, Université de Montréal / Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna

Greta Delpanno is a PhD student in Études cinématographiques at the Université de Montréal (supervisor: prof. Marta Boni), and in Arti, Storia e Società at the University of Bologna (supervisor: prof. Paola Brembilla). Her research, focused on seriality and gender studies, explores the representation of the LGBTQIA+ community in recent Italian TV series on streaming platforms. Specialized in cinema and new media, Delpanno has been awarded with several international exchange scholarships and was visiting scholar at California State University, Chico in 2021. She actively contributes to the Labo Télé research group, led by Marta Boni at the Université de Montréal, and is also involved in the PRIN 2022 programme PNRR “WokeIt: WokeIt: Indagando Rappresentazione, Inclusività e Responsabilità Sociale nelle Produzioni della Rai (2023-2025)” (PI: prof. Paola Brembilla).
