Abstract

The Palermo Convention represents the development of a legal-cultural movement that has had its point of reference in the pioneering work of Giovanni Falcone and in his struggle against Cosa Nostra in Sicily. From there, from the collaboration between Palermo and New York, a new investigative culture was born, based on the principles of coordination and cooperation, decisive in defeating an increasingly international and transnational organized crime.
