Abstract

This contribution aims to investigate the levels of participation of schools in Northern Italy in the “Nave della legalità” (the Ship of legality), the initiative promoted by the Falcone Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). Following an overview of the initiative, the article focuses on the contexts of the northern regions – analyzing the level of adherence of the institutes to the initiative and the anti-mafia mobilization of the school world – and on some interesting experiences of teachers and schools particularly active in this field.
