Abstract

Here we intend to take account of the experiences of Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC) in the contexts of developing countries and business. These are new experiences that start at a later stage than the initial one, that saw the birth of MOOCs within US élite universities and their diffusion in the academic sphere. In both cases, they are highlighted the opportunities that, as educational and vocational training systems, MOOCs seem to offer, the difficulties that emerge in the development of of programs and the resulting adaptations needed for an effective implementation. The paper concludes with some contestualized reflections on the concept of quality and on the evolutionary lines of the teaching-learning process.
