Abstract

Valeria Benetti's scientific and cultural work consciously interprets a historic turning point that was destined to set a new direction for the debate on women's emancipation in Italy and helped to establish the centrality of the issue of equality, not only in terms of formal rights, on the social and political agenda of the 20th century.
