The paper examines the significant role played by the University of Milan in archaeological investigations carried out in Angera (Lake Maggiore - Italy) between 1975 and 1986, as well as its scientific contribution to the establishment of the Civic Archaeological Museum. Nearly forty years after the end of the excavations, this paper presents a new project aimed at reorganizing, digitizing, and promoting the archive record related to these archaeological investigations housed at the Archaeology Section of the Department of Cultural and Environmental Heritage at the University of Milan.
