LANX is the open access annual electronic journal of the Archaeological School of the University of Milan. It collects the articles of students and professors of the School, and of scholars who have collaborated on its projects. It also displays the results of their archaeological excavations and research.
LANX objective is to share and diffuse the results of the strong research activity of the School: besides the usual didactic plan, a rich calendar of seminars and conferences with external scholars, annual trips to the most important places for the researches of the School and the archaeological excavations directed by the Professors of the School at a large number of Italian and foreign sites.
So both well-known and young scholars close to the School can have the opportunity of diffusing and publishing on line their own research thanks to the new technologies, which this electronic journal really embodies.
The Scientific Committee of this journal is composed of the Professors of the Scuola di Specializzazione in Archeologia of the Università degli Studi di Milano, who approve the articles to be published. Moreover, each Professor makes himself guarantor of the articles of the external scholars by presenting them also under his own name.
