Dermot Heaney, Università degli Studi di Milano

Dermot Heaney is originally from Birmingham UK. He graduated from the Universityof Warwick and was awarded an M.A by the same University. He also holds a doctoratefrom U.C.C. of the National University of Ireland. He is currently a tenured researcher inTranslation and English Language and Linguistics at the Università degli Studi in Milan.His research interests to date lie mainly in L2 translation pedagogy, particularlyconventional metaphor, multilingualism in sports media interactions, and discursiveidentity construction, particularly in the field of sport.Dermot Heaney is originally from Birmingham UK.
