CHALLENGES IN ITALIAN LISTENING COMPREHENSION: PERSPECTIVES FROM CHINESE UNIVERSITY CLASSROOMS
DOI:
https://doi.org/10.54103/2037-3597/32016Abstract
This paper presents a qualitative study investigating the development of listening comprehension skills among Italian major students at universities in the People’s Republic of China. The research aims to bridge the gap between theoretical sub-skills and classroom practice by identifying the specific cognitive and environmental challenges learners face when engaging with diverse audio input. Employing a triangulated methodological approach, data were collected through a questionnaire administered to Italian language students across different Chinese universities, supplemented by semi-structured interviews with Italian language educators. Based on this data, the study proposes a series of pedagogical interventions designed to enhance listening strategies and facilitate the transition to real-world L2 interaction.
Le difficoltà nella comprensione orale dell’italiano:
prospettive dalle classi universitarie cinesi
