Shannon Magri, University of Bergamo

Shannon Magri is a Ph.D. Student in Transcultural Studies in Humanities at the University of Bergamo. In 2020 she completed her Bachelor of Letters at University of Bergamo. She holds a Master in Communication, Information, Publishing from University of Bergamo, where she discussed the thesis “Creatures in Crisis: Anthropocene and Hyperobjects in Visual Culture”. Her research focuses on ecological insensibility, the issues concerning the mediated experience of climate change, and the problematic relationship between cinema and virtual reality.
