Author Biography

Giuseppe Previtali, University of Bergamo

Giuseppe Previtali is Assistant Professor of Cinema and Visual Studies at the University of Bergamo. His main research interests deal with the extreme forms of contemporary visuality (ranging from war to uprisings), the political interpretation of filmic genres and the issue of visual literacy. He published extensively on these topics and he is the author of the books: L'ultimo tabù (2020), Educazione visuale (2021), and Che cos'è il trash (2025).
