Issue 9 of Connessioni Remote (2025) is a miscellany that explores some of the themes the journal addresses: the relationships between performing arts, digital technologies, and contemporary visual practices, with particular attention to forms of artivism and techno-political experimentation. The magazine was born as a critical and interdisciplinary space where scholars, artists, and researchers explore the transformations of art in the mediatization era, addressing themes such as techno-theater, the performativity of sound, liveness, and intermedial practices, in a constant dialogue between theory and practice, aesthetics and politics.
