Abstract

La storia del cinema ha guardato alle componenti straniere in modo spesso marginale, facilmente sbilanciato su intenti comico-parodici o restituendo, nei loro usi, tentativi di una qualche forma di critica sociale. Oggi però il cinema ha scoperto nuovi sguardi e accolto nuove sonorità: alle lingue europee subentrano quelle dei popoli migranti e le pellicole iniziano a interrogarsi sulla realtà cogente della convivenza e dell’integrazione.

Variations of the italian language: the language of new migrants in films

The history of cinema has often viewed foreign components in a marginal way, imbalanced due to comic-parodic intentions or attempts to use them as a form of social criticism. Today, however, cinema has discovered new visions and welcomed new sounds: the languages of migrant peoples have taken the place of European languages and films are beginning to question the mandatory reality of coexistence and integration.
