CONSAPEVOLEZZE LINGUISTICHE E TESTUALI PER CAPIRE I TESTI LETTERARI

Abstract

In questo contributo, si ricordano alcuni principi teorici utili ai docenti che vogliano gestire al meglio l’educazione letteraria nel suo intreccio con l’educazione linguistica. La specificità di lingua e testi letterari, specie in poesia, è fondata sullo sfruttamento consapevole di quella ambiguità linguistica che, al contrario, i linguaggi scientifici cercano di arginare al massimo. Tra i testi in prosa, si  considerano i testi narrativi nella loro complessità di tempi, punti di vista e voci, da insegnare a dipanare per facilitarne la comprensione e per far maturare nei ragazzi il gusto permanente per la lettura.

Linguistic and textual awareness in understanding literary texts

This paper recalls some theoretical principles useful for teachers who want to better manage literary education in its intertwining with language education. The specificity of literary texts, especially poetry, is based on the conscious exploitation of linguistic ambiguity. Scientific languages, on the other hand, try to eliminate this as much as possible. Finally, narrative texts are considered in terms of their complexity of times, points of view and voices. These aspects need to be explained to facilitate understanding and develop a lifelong taste for reading in students.
