DAD DELL’ITALIANO LS IN AMBITO UNIVERSITARIO IN CINA: UNA RICERCA PRESSO LA SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL STUDIES UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Il presente lavoro è il primo studio di caso basato sulla raccolta di dati tramite questionari somministrati a insegnanti e studenti d’italiano come lingua straniera (LS) presso il Dipartimento di Italianistica della Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) nei mesi di maggio-giugno 2022. L’obiettivo della ricerca è stato quello di analizzare le percezioni dei protagonisti sulla didattica online. Il contributo riporta la letteratura sul tema dell'insegnamento/apprendimento delle lingue straniere a distanza durante la pandemia, in riferimento all’ Italia e alla Repubblica Popolare Cinese; prosegue quindi con la descrizione del contesto dove è stato realizzato il case-study. Successivamente si descrive la metodologia della ricerca, si riportano i dati raccolti e si analizzano, paragonandoli con gli studi precedentemente menzionati. Le conclusioni riflettono quanto emerso nell’analisi statistica e non dei dati acquisiti.

Teaching online Italian as a second language in a Chinese University:  research conducted at Shanghai International Studies University

This work is the first case study based on data collected through questionnaires administered to teachers and students of Italian as a foreign language at the Department of Italian Studies at the Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) in the months of May-June 2022. The aim of the research was to analyze the perceptions of all those involved in online teaching. The contribution reports the literature on the subject of distance teaching / learning of foreign languages during the pandemic, with reference to Italy and the People's Republic of China; it then continues with a description of the context where the case study was carried out. Subsequently, the methodology of the research is described, the collected data are reported and analyzed, comparing them with the previously mentioned studies. The conclusions reflect what emerged from the statistical analysis and evaluation of the observational data.
