The paper aims at analyzing some specific aspects of the commercial network that connected centers of North Italy, more in particular of the Transpadana region, to the Transalpine area. A specific attention has been devoted to a group of inscriptions attesting to the existence of a collegium negotiatorum Cisalpinorum et Transalpinorum in North Italy, Gallia Lugdunensis and Germania Superior. Members of this corpus, which was structured in more sections, appear to have supervised the trade between the above‐mentioned areas, by also providing services of transport and protection of wares.
