Abstract

Published here for the first time, the Giovanni Giudici's last poem remained unpublished, recovered among the files on the writer's laptop, never examined since his death in 2011. The long composition seems to symbolically close the poet's work with a theme that runs through his entire production: that of the home, seen as the place of everyday life and family relationships, but also as an object of the social aspirations of that "average man" who is the protagonist of so many of Giudici's verses.
