With this eleventh issue, the title Forms and Modes of Epic returns, marking the volumes with an open theme, alternating with the monographic ones that define the profile and editorial choices of «AOQU». This issue VI, 1 includes six articles dedicated respectively to the Ilias Latina (Alessandro Fabi), the character of Rinaldo da Montalbano in chivalric tradition between 15th and 16th centuries (Federica Conselvan), the topos of the deer hunting in 16th-century chivalric epic (Michela Maria Palumbo), the poetic voice in Tasso’s Mondo creato (Davide Ramozzi), Cesarotti’s translation of the Iliad (Maddalena La Rosa), and finally, Svevo’s youthful experiment Ariosto Governatore (Salvatore Francesco Lattarulo). As always, it offers a fruitful diachronic journey through the shifting voices and facets of the epic code.
