SOCIAL-ITALIANO L2. UN’INDAGINE SULLA DIDATTICA DELL’ITALIANO L2/LS IN INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK E YOUTUBE E UNA PROPOSTA DI LABORATORIO PER LE SCUOLE

Abstract

L’articolo intende proporre un esempio di integrazione di un social network per la didattica dell’italiano L2 come lingua di scolarizzazione. Dopo aver riepilogato brevemente la letteratura esistente sui vantaggi dell’uso dei social network a scopo glottodidattico, l’articolo analizza un campione di corsi di lingua italiana per stranieri ospitati su Instagram, TikTok e YouTube, allo scopo di raccogliere informazioni sulla loro struttura, sui contenuti e sulla loro organizzazione, nonché sulle modalità di interazione col pubblico virtuale di seguaci-apprendenti e sulla loro percezione dei contenuti. Si rileveranno le dichiarazioni sulle modalità e i tipi di contenuti più apprezzati, soprattutto in relazione alle possibilità offerte dalla multimodalità. I dati così ricavati sono rielaborati per proporre un progetto di laboratorio permanente per le scuole medie inferiori.

Social-Italian L2. A survey on the didactics of Italian L2/LS on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube and a workshop proposal for schools

The article aims to propose an example of the integration of a social network for teaching Italian L2 as a language of instruction. After briefly summarising the existing literature on the advantages of using social networks for glottodidactic purposes, the article analyses a sample of Italian language courses for foreigners hosted on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.  The aim is to gather information on their structure, contents and organisation, as well as on how they interact with the virtual audience of followers-learners and their perception of the contents. Statements on the most popular modes and types of content will be collected, especially concerning the possibilities of multimodality. The data thus obtained is processed to propose a permanent workshop project for secondary schools.
